Nearly a century of faith
West Baton Rouge Presbyterian Church originated in 1939, sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana and rooted in the conviction that the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives and communities. From those earliest days, we have grown into one of the oldest churches in West Baton Rouge, serving our neighbors as part of The Presbytery of South Louisiana.
Across nearly a century, our church family has weathered floods, wars, and seasons of great change — always returning to the same source of strength: the Word of God and the fellowship of believers. Our sanctuary, with its beloved stained glass windows, remains the heart of our shared worship.
